ANTONIO REZZA / FLAVIA MASTRELLA

BAHAMUT

Flavia Mastrella and Antonio Rezza are without doubt the most anti-conventional couple in Italian theatre. Their works start from a visual research by Flavia Mastrella, that is then  converted not into a mere set design but an artistic, scenic installation. Antonio Rezza, sensible and restless performer, constructs every show in constant dialogue with the space created by Flavia Mastrella.

For this new production by Crt Artificio Milan- which is part of the little series The Monster With Two Heads, which includes also two older works, ME (IO) and Pitecus - the two minstrels part from the situation of a man without any motoric ability that depends totally on the help of two nurses. Like an implacable despot he continuously insults them in the worst way. Not being able to live his life autonomously, this man lives of reflected significance by seeing in everything the mirror of his own disgrace.

A biting, merciless show that through laughter and humor shows us the hidden part of life, the one that usually is concealed.
